Rush to the Alter

So my biggest, dearest sister, who is in reality my only sister, is getting married in 3 short weeks. Jonathan (her fiance and soon to be brother-in-law) has quickly become the big brother I always longed for. I am so blessed to have both of these people in my life, and the respect and love that they share for each other is something I can only strive to find. Marriage has become something near and dear to my heart, not only because of the upcoming wedding, but because I have recently finished the amazing book "Captivating" by Stasi and John Eldridge. This book has truly developed my role as a woman in society, the home, and in a marriage. I would recommend it for everyone, man or woman. So in just a few days, well about a week really, I will be leaving my comfy dorm room in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ and heading back to the heat in Tucson. I cannot believe how quickly this last year has gone, I am practically a sophomore in college and just to add to the stress of my life, jobless :( .

Lovely Weather
I wasn't sure when I first moved to Flagstaff that I would enjoy the snow very much, but let me tell you, it is fantastic. The only bad thing is eventually the snow melts and turns into nasty slash. The best thing about the changing weather is the many different outfits you can wear from jackets one week to flip flops the next...it is quite incredible. I have recently found out that I have Celiac, and although it is not official it seems to be fairly certain. The baker would be allergic to whatever she cooks hehe. So my new goal is to start learning how to cook gluten free pastries and see how that goes. It will be my new challenge!
